On May 10, 2016, SERVPRO of Biloxi-Ocean Springs technicians encountered a new way to help. While on-site conducting quality water mitigation services at a home in Gulfport MS, what peered out at them while removing wet drywall ceilings melted their hearts.
A lone baby raccoon, that was barely able to walk, was found abandoned and mother-less. Technicians Steven Riley, Perry Favor, and Casey Gullotta decided to be SERVPRO HERO READY in a different way. They safely secured the animal in box lined with soft towels, and contacted Gulf Coast Wildlife Rehab (www.gulfcoastwildliferehab.org), which came quickly thereafter to the rescue. The baby raccoon will receive top notch healthcare to ensure a happy quality of life. Hats off to these young men for going above and beyond for ALL life!
